General Requirements

Age Consideration
Prospective students into JS 1 at the Trinity Boys College must have turned ten (10) by August of the year of entry into the College, since the College programme is not structured for very young children who are still very much emotionally dependent on close support of their parents. Prospective students should be matured enough to carry out the college daily routine, and still be able to face their studies. In addition, every child who seeks admission into the College must have completed a full primary school education with the evidence of Common Entrance Exam.

It’s pertinent to note that JS 2 Age bracket is 11years old  while SS 1 and SS 2 Age brackets are  13years and 14years old respectively as at the time of entry.

Note: A student may be withdrawn if it is later discovered that his age was falsified for the purpose of gaining admission into the College

Examination and Interviews
There is a written examination in English Language, Mathematics and General Papers. Candidates are to come along with writing materials on the day of examination. Our Next Entrance Examination Date is on Saturday 15th July, 2023. Time is 9:00am prompt. Venue is the College Premises located at Shape, Wasa – District after Apo Mechanic, Abuja.

The Results of the Entrance Examination will be published on the College website.

Successful candidates at the entrance exam are invited for an oral (physical) interview involving prospective students and their parents/guardians with the management team of the College. Prospective students are to come along with the following documents:
• 2 Passport-size photograph
• Original and a photocopy of birth certificate (declaration of age affidavits are not acceptable).
• Baptismal Card (for Catholics)
Final list of successful candidates for provisional admission will be published on the College website.
